Scott + Martin x Ginger Walker

Scott + Martin

If you had to describe your own style in a few words, what would they be? For me, I’d say my style is feminine, classic and colorful. The three don’t coincide in every single look I pull together, but more often than not, one of those elements is present.  And more often than not…that element is color. I am always drawn to pieces that are bright, bold and unique.  Today, I’m excited to introduce you to a brand that showcases just that, Scott + Martin.

Personally, I always feel my best in color, and am always looking for pieces that will brighten up my outfit. Ever since starting my blog, I have had so many readers comment on how they love my use of color, but are afraid to try it out in their own wardrobes.  I totally get it! If it’s not part of your normal routine, it can be intimidating.  For readers who tell me that they don’t think they can pull it off or they are afraid of being too loud, I always recommend that they start with small accessories. Maybe a fun pair of statement earrings or a colorful clutch, such as this piece from Scott + Martin.

Based out of Fort Worth, Scott + Martin is a brand that turns art into fashion.  Scott + Martin was founded by Amanda Wear and Angela Williams who also own Cowtown Couture, an online boutique. They saw a need for items that were affordable, functional, and durable.  But most of all, they wanted pieces that were unique, and couldn’t be found anywhere else, which is where the art comes into play.  For their first collaboration, they partnered with Ginger Walker, whose work is absolutely stunning! She uses  bold and vibrant colors which really make for a unique pattern and ensure that no two bags are exactly alike.  Along with the Foldover Clutch, they have created a Classic Circle Skirt and Tie Front Kimono, all created from their collaboration with Ginger. I have gotten so many compliments on this clutch already. It’s the perfect size to carry all of the necessities and I especially love the tassel detail on the zipper.

You can shop Scott + Martin’s first collaboration through their website, as well as through Ginger Walker’s website.  They are also available at her gallery in Fort Worth, Galleywinter Gallery.

Scott + Martin will be showcased at the Cowtown Couture Holiday Pop-Ups coming up in November.  These foldover clutches would make for some really great gifts so I will definitely keep you all posted on the event details as we get closer!

I hope you all have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!
